A carved SOUP sign over shelves of Two Pence Market bags and steel tins, against a dark green wall.

Steel urns and taps along a timber counter, under globe lamps on black posts, with a sign for each station.

Glazed black double doors from inside, over a tiled floor with the Two Pence Market, Milton, Mass. seal in the mosaic.

Tall black double doors in a white classical surround, with a lantern overhead and the brick building opposite reflected in the glass.

Leather chairs and small tables by the windows, with the counters and a chandelier beyond.

The market floor in one wide view: timber shelving islands and produce under a panelled ceiling and chandeliers.

Wine bottles racked at an angle along a timber display.

Timber shelves of spirits and a glass-fronted refrigerator in a small side room.

The long room from the entrance: the counter at the left, shelving and flowers at the right, chandeliers overhead.

Carved signs for smoothies, bagels, soup and bowls on a dark green wall, above small display shelves.

Jars of mustard, jam and preserves above a row of cookbooks.

A round café table and four chairs under a window.

A panelled room with a fireplace between two tall windows, and people reading in armchairs.

Shelves of snacks and pantry goods leading to a doorway signed BOTTLE SHOP.

Crates of fruit and vegetables on a timber display, with grocery shelves and the counter behind.
